The Flavor of Emotions

Emotions communicate to us and tell us what we care about and how we value certain things.

This wisdom is often lost in avoidance and not wanting to feel uncomfortable emotions.

Mindfulness can help to distinguish between the distinctly different emotions. There are even many flavors to each particular emotion.

Emotional clarity is necessary to understand ourselves and what we need.

They can be clear and direct so to inform us how to prepare for a situation or how to respond to a situation.

This takes practice.

-Take a moment to sit in silence, going inward to your mind, finding your emotional self.

-Listen to your breath, the quality of your breath, and seek to understand what it is telling you.
