A Focus on Solutions: A Move in the Right Direction

A Focus on Solutions: A Move in the Right Direction

Do you ever feel like, no matter how hard you work towards a goal, you are moving at a snail’s pace of growth?

I do.

In a perfect world, it makes sense to create a vision board of where you would like to see yourself in 5 or 10 years and begin to make steps to get to your destination.

Simple, right?

It can be.

Let’s look at this optimistically.

The goal is to think about growth in terms of solutions.

So, begin to change your vocabulary to reframe statements with a focus on the solution.

By focusing on what is going right, and what is working you can move forward, making it almost impossible to move backwards, unless you intentionally turn around, making a U turn (I don’t think snails can make sharp turns).

You see. The snail may move slowly but it is constantly gliding forward. They literally can not go in reverse.

So, keep moving forward, even if it’s at a snail’s pace, you will eventually reach the destination in front of you.
